Tungsten Carbide Body PDC Bit

4.5 Inch 113mm PDC Core Bit

4.5 Inch 113mm PDC Core Bit – Reinforced Steel Body with Side‑Mounted PDC Cutters for Matrix Protection

Our 4.5‑inch (113 mm) PDC core bit is purpose‑built for extremely abrasive and unstable complex formations, solving the common pain point of rapid matrix abrasion and premature failure of conventional coring bits in gravel‑rich ground conditions.

Different from standard PDC core bits on the market, this coring drill bit adopts a thickened high‑strength steel body as the base carrier. A full ring of auxiliary PDC composite cutters is arranged around the bit side wall. These side PDC cutters form a reliable shielding barrier, which directly takes the abrasive scouring impact from rock fragments and cuttings during drilling, effectively isolating the matrix from high‑speed abrasive debris. It prevents the matrix from being continuously worn, scoured and chipped by hard cobbles, gravel and broken rock particles.

Thanks to this special anti‑wear structural design, the overall service life of this 113 mm PDC core bit can reach ten times that of ordinary conventional core bits under equivalent working conditions. It greatly reduces the frequency of bit replacement, lowers downtime for tripping pipe, and cuts comprehensive drilling costs for mine and geological exploration projects.

This PDC core bit performs outstandingly in challenging strata including cobble beds, sand‑cobble layers, gravel rock and heavily fractured formations. Widely deployed for mine exploitation, geological prospecting, core sampling and formation investigation tasks. It delivers stable core recovery rate and steady penetration rate even in loose, abrasive broken ground, bringing dependable coring performance for field drilling teams.
